Ways To Use Essential Oils For Man

1. Beard Oil

Make a beard oil by combining 20 ml of jojoba oil, 10 ml of argan oil, five drops of patchouli essential oil, three drops of cinnamon essential oil, and three drops of tea tree oil. Fill the content in a bottle with an eye-dropper. Apply it sparingly on the beard and spread it evenly. The best time to use beard oil is after a bath or face wash.

2. Hair Styling Gel


Dissolve one spoon of gelatin in warm water in a bowl. Add a few drops of ylang-ylang/jasmine/lemon essential oil and transfer this mixture into a glass container. Men can use it to style their hair.

Add this content to a small container and let it cool to make a beard balm. Apply it regularly to tame the coarse beard hair and style the beard.

4. Facial Care

Take two drops of tea tree oil and five drops of jojoba oil and apply the blend to the face overnight to get rid of acne, pimples, and blackheads. Users with dark circles can use coffee oil for application.

5. Relaxing Bath



Add a few drops of cedarwood essential oil and ylang-ylang essential oil to Epsom salt and add it to warm bath water for a refreshing and relaxing bath. The users can also directly mix essential oils in bathwater.

6. Cologne Blend

Mix 5 ml of sweet almond oil, three drops of patchouli essential oil, three drops of neroli essential oil, and six drops of sandalwood essential oil in the palm. Apply the mixture on the underarms, wrists, behind knees, near earlobes, and middle of the chaste.

7. Deo Roll-on



Make a homemade deo roll-on with 10 ml witch hazel/rose water, five gms arrowroot powder, five gms aloe vera gel, ten gms baking soda, 10 ml distilled water, two gms magnesium hydroxide, and ten drops cypress essential oil and five drops of lemongrass essential oil. Fill the well-mixed content in an empty roll-on bottle. Apply it on the underarms and other sweating parts of the body regularly. The users can add peppermint essential oil for cooling effects during summer.

8. Pleasant Breath

For fresh breath, add three drops of peppermint essential oil and two drops of cinnamon oil in 100 ml water and gargle with it thrice after eating twice a day to remove disagreeable odor and prevent toothache and gingivitis.

9. Lip Balm


Heat 5 gms soy wax and five gms butter in an oven or on a low flame. Remove from the flame and add a few drops of palo santo essential oil and 2 ml apricot kernel oil. Fill this in a small airtight container and let it cool. Apply it to your lips regularly to heal chapped lips in winter.

10. Moisturizer

Take 30 ml cucumber seed oil, 20 gms avocado butter, five drops cypress essential oil, and five drops palo santo essential oil. Melt the avocado butter, add other oils to it and mix them well. Fill the mixture in a bottle and apply it on exposed skin except for the face regularly to keep it hydrated the users can exercise their discretion in adding different ingredients as per the consistency and aroma required in the end product.
